The Samaria gorge is located just to the south of Chania and is the second most visited site on the Greek island of Crete. Reputed to be the longest gorge in Europe it is an excellent day out for active families enjoying a stay in a holiday villa in Chania. The walk terminates at the Libyan sea from where you take a boat and coach back to Chania.
